The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has named the tropical depression currently dumping rain on Taiwan, Typhoon Kemi, making it the 6th named tropical storm for 2018. Typhoon Talim May Affect Taiwan Mid-Week

The 18th typhoon of the 2017 season may affect Taiwan from Wednesday, according to the Central Weather Bureau. Tropical Typhoon Talim formed near Guam September 7.
