Seven Tourists Suffer Slight Injuries in Hualian Bus Crash

Seven passengers received treatment in hospital after a tour bus careered into a concrete landmark at the entrance of Beipu Village in Hualian County today. The tour bus was carrying a group of 27 tourists from Jiangsu Province, China, when it swerved to avoid a car at an intersection. The driver lost control on the wet road at around noon. Police are investigating the accident.

Tour Coach Stuck in Motorcycle Underpass

A tour coach carrying Chinese tourists in Kaohsiung this morning stuck fast against the top of a low-clearance underpass reserved exclusively for motorcycle traffic. Tour Bus Crash Near Keelung: 8 Injured

Eight passengers suffered slight injuries when a tour bus crashed through a guard rail and slid down a slope off a highway ramp, at Badu, north of Taipei City at around 7:00am this morning, January 7, 2017. Most passengers managed to disembark without assistance through a rear emergency exit. Apple Daily reported that the driver is suspected to have been under the influence of cold medicine. Liberty Times Network reported that the driver lost control during a fit of coughing.
