Firefighters in Pingtung City today rescued a four year-old boy after he clambered onto the security grill on a balcony on the the 5th floor and fell through a gap. Witnesses reported that a boy was dangling from the 5th floor of a building at around 11:20am. A man in Pingtung County was shot dead by gangsters who stopped his car during what police suspect was a traffic dispute in the early hours of this morning. The 23 year-old soldier named Ho, was returning for duty at a base in Kaohsiung City after taking a day’s leave. After filling up at a gas station on Yanping Road, Chaozhou township at around 3:00am, Ho pulled out onto the road and a car blocked his vehicle from the front.
