A man who went missing while snorkeling off the coast of New Taipei City yesterday was rescued by a fishing boat in Yilan County this morning, Sunday, May 8. According to reports, the 43-year-old man, named Shen, went snorkeling with a partner, named You, near Magang Fishing Port in Gongliao District at around 8:00 am Saturday. The body of a post-graduate student who went missing while diving off Orchid Island October 15 has been found and recovered today. The remains of Lin Jiazhi were found just 200 meters away from the place he went missing. Volunteer divers joined the search this morning at around 6:00am.
