A total of 1,783.5 kg of illicit drugs were intercepted in a shipment of goods that included children’s playground ornaments, tea, and car wax. A huge haul of amphetamine was found in a in a refrigerated container at a wharf in Kaohsiung yesterday. 138 kilograms of the drug was concealed in the bellies of frozen tuna headed for Japan. At an undisclosed location in Hsinchu County, a 27 year old woman was arrested after going berserk at the local Land God Temple.
