A total of 1,783.5 kg of illicit drugs were intercepted in a shipment of goods that included children’s playground ornaments, tea, and car wax. A twenty-two year-old New Zealand man was arrested at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport on February 29 carrying 2.7 kilograms of heroin sewn into the fabric of his backpack. Big Amphetamine bust at Kaohsiung Harbour

A huge haul of amphetamine was found in a in a refrigerated container at a wharf in Kaohsiung yesterday. 138 kilograms of the drug was concealed in the bellies of frozen tuna headed for Japan.
