A Malaysian student studying at a university in Changhua County fell from a 5th floor balcony and died this evening, Wednesday, January 3. According to witnesses, the man was taking a selfie while dressed in a Spider-Man suit. [Picture: United Daily News] A woman in Taichung City survived a fall from the 15th floor, after jumping off a balcony, and landing on a sheet-metal roof at the 3rd floor level. The 35 year-old woman named Hsieh, was drinking with her 30 year-old boyfriend at around noon today when she apparently began to question him as to whether or not he had a mistress. An argument ensued, during which Ms Hsieh attempted to jump off the 15th floor balcony.

A young man was hospitalized after falling from the 5th floor of a building in Xizhi District, New Taipei City, this afternoon, Tuesday, December 12. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident on Fu-an Street at around 3:45pm, and found a man, around 20 years-old, conscious, but suffering multiple injuries after falling onto a parked SUV. Pictures showed firefighters pulling the man out of the crushed vehicle, after he apparently crashed through the windshield.

A 51 year-old woman in Taichung fell from the third floor of a building and landed on a first floor awning. Her legs crashed through the awning, leaving her upper body resting on top. Ambulance officers found the woman bruised and unconscious, but not seriously injured.
