An e-sports player who represented Taiwan’s 2012 winning team in the Season 2 World Championship of League of Legends has been arrested and charged for trafficking marijuana, according to reports today, September 29.

Kurtis Lau Wai-kin, a native of Hong Kong better known by his in-game moniker Toyz, was arrested after a search of his home earlier today.

Wai-kin was brought in for interrogation and tested for drug use. Results of the drug tests have not yet been returned, but police petitioned the Taichung District Court to keep Wai-kin in detention this evening on suspicion of trafficking a class 2 illegal drug – marijuana.
