Worker Dead After Pissing on High Voltage Wires

A worker painting a high-voltage electricity tower in New Taipei City’s Linkou District Died this morning, after being electrocuted and falling from a height equivalent to 8 stories.

Workers at the scene said the 42 year-old man, Mr Du (杜), had had an urgent need to urinate while atop the tower. He decided to unzip and relieve himself at high altitude. However, the wind caused the stream of urine to go askew and come in contact with the high-voltage power lines.

Mr Du was electrocuted and fell onto the concrete base of the tower. Investigators are still trying to clarify details about the accident.
