Taiwan President committed to Interstellar Peace after enemies threaten to “conquer the universe”

President Tsai Ing-wen reconfirmed her commitment to peace in the universe today, May 4, 2019, while taking part in this year’s “May the fourth be with you” activities in Xinyi District, Taipei City.

President Tsai’s statements come after Kaohsiung Mayor, and Presidential hopeful, Han Guo-yu (韓國瑜) pledged to “conquer the universe.”

At a conference held Tuesday, April 30, Han laid his plan for the future of Taiwan, which included “to be rooted in Taiwan, to embrace China, to have an eye on the world, and to conquer the universe,” Taiwan News reported.

Han Guo-yu as conqueror of the universe.
Han Guo-yu, the demagogic Mayor of Kaohsiung City, with presidential aspirations based on a pro-China political platform, pledged that he would “conquer the universe,” April 30, 2019.

The president wrote on Facebook today, “I heard that some people want to conquer the universe.”

President Tsai, in turn pledged to cooperate with far away galaxies with shared ideals to maintain peace and stability.

“We bring service, not conquest: We are contributors to peace and happiness.” The president said. “We are absolutely not the intergalactic troublemakers.”

“May the Force be with you,” Tsai concluded.

President Tsai made a surprise appearance at the “May the Fourth be With You” event to celebrate international Star Wars Day nearby the Taipei 101 building in Xinyi District, Taipei City, today.

Tsai mingled with around 100 Star Wars fans and was photographed holding a light saber.
