7 out of 10 in New Taipei City hospital cluster infection fully vaccinated

Seven out of ten people testing positive for COVID-19 in a health facility in New Taipei City’s Banqiao District were vaccinated, New Taipei City Mayor Hou Yu-ih (侯友宜) said at a regular press briefing yesterday, August 4.

Mayor Hou said that five people from the small hospital were among 14 people added to the list of infected in New Taipei City, Wednesday.

Mayor Hou said the five new cases from the hospital brought the total cluster infection to 10 people, of whom seven were vaccinated.

Being vaccinated doesn’t mean you won’t get infected, Mayor Hou observed, adding that we must remain vigilant, especially in high risk areas like hospitals and long-term care institutions. The mayor advised that people in high-risk environments should continue to wear masks, and conduct regular screenings, even after vaccination.

“Being vaccinated doesn’t mean you won’t get infected….” 1) There exists no “vaccination” for “that thing” anyway, no matter what it is. 2) All there is is corporacratic propaganda, intimidation, and arm-twisting. Anything goes wrong, anyone gets sick and dies….well, government and corporations have had the “malice aforethought” to get themselves pre-excused from any and all legal culpability. Now what does that tell us?

There once was a pharmaceutical company rep sitting on a bench in the Brisbane Botanical Gardens. He was screwing up pieces of paper and throwing them over his shoulder.

A young man jogging by stopped and asked him why he was tossing the paper around.

“It keeps the elephants away,” the pharma rep replied.

“But there are no elephants in Brisbane,” the jogger pointed out.

      “See, it works!”
