Same-Sex Marriage Rights Guaranteed by Constitution: Highest Court Rules

Taiwan’s highest court, the Judicial Yuan, today declared that denial of same-sex marriage rights were a violation of rights guaranteed by the constitution of the Republic of China, and ordered the government to amend the civil code within a period of 2 years.
