Heavy rains continued to inundate Taiwan for the fourth day running, causing havoc all over the island. This is a sample of images from various Taiwan media sources, Sunday, October 15, 2017.

A group of hikers trapped in the mountains near Jhiben Township, Taitung County. They had planned to descend the mountain October 14, but heavy rain caused a waterfall to block the road. According to rescuers, the roadbed has been washed away by the waterfall.
